Upgrade React regularly and read the release notes

Small, frequent upgrades are easier than one big jump. React minor releases such as 19.3 add stable features, for example View Transitions and Fragment Refs, and fix bugs that may be affecting you.

For each upgrade:

1. Read the release post and changelog.
2. Run the official codemods when a release offers them.
3. Update React and React DOM together and keep their versions in sync.
4. Run your tests.

If you use a framework, upgrade through the framework, since it pins a compatible React version.
