Stage 6 · Lesson 6 of 6
Learning from every bug
Debugging is where you learn how systems really work, so do not outsource the learning with the fix. After each bug, write two or three lines in a notes file: the symptom, the cause, how you found it and what would have caught it earlier. Ask the tool to quiz you on the concept behind the bug rather than just accepting its patch.
Over months this becomes your own catalogue of failure patterns, which is exactly the judgment that makes someone good at reviewing AI code. It also gives you real stories for conversations with mentors and in hiring processes.
Common trapfixing the same kind of bug five times with AI help and never noticing it is the same bug, because you never wrote anything down.
A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 1 cheat sheet entry come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
