Stage 10 · Lesson 1 of 5
Scoping a project you can finish
Pick a project small enough to finish in a few weeks, for a real user you can talk to, with a handful of features each of which you can test. A booking page for one tutor, an inventory sheet for a family shop, or a tool your student society actually needs are good sizes.
A platform for every tutor in the country is not. Agents make starting easy and finishing hard: they generate a lot of code quickly, and the work that remains, edge cases, deployment, fixes from real use, is the part that makes it real. Write down what is out of scope before you start. Choose a stack you partly know, so you can review what the agent writes.
Common trapchoosing an ambitious idea because the agent makes it feel possible, then abandoning it half-built.
A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 1 cheat sheet entry come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
