Stage 8 · Lesson 6 of 7
Your first job is not forever
. It is where you gain one or two years of real experience, not necessarily your final destination. Experience changes your options.
The second move is far easier, pay often catches up then, and you will know much more about what you want. Judge the first role on three things: what you will learn, who you will learn from, and whether you will real work (release it to real users).
After a year, review it honestly against those three. Stay long enough to have real results to talk about.
Common trapeither turning down a decent first role while waiting for a perfect one, or leaving after three months before you have anything to show.
A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 1 cheat sheet entry come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
