Stage 8 · Lesson 7 of 7
Keeping the learning habit
matters after you are hired, but the habit should change shape. Your job now sets what you study. Learn what your tasks need, deepen the fundamentals you skipped, and read code your team has written.
Keep it smaller than before, perhaps two to four hours a week, because a new job is tiring. Revisit the Sefism skill roadmap for your role and pick up the stages you rushed. The gap with colleagues who started earlier closes fastest in the first two years.
Common trapstopping all learning after the offer, or burning out by keeping pre-job study hours on top of a demanding new role.
A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 1 cheat sheet entry come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
