On a , your job is to make good telemetry the default for every service rather than a skill each team must learn. That usually means a on every cluster, auto-instrumentation switched on by an , a standard set of resource attributes and (service, team, environment), and a generated dashboard and SLO template when a service is created.
Publish the conventions and enforce label names in code review or policy. Watch the cost side too: per-team usage and limits.
Common trapletting each team choose its own label names, so cross-service queries, cost reports and shared dashboards never line up.
