Stage 2 · Lesson 6 of 6

Checking real demand

A target role that fits your background

A role you love is only a good first target if employers where you can work hire for it at entry level. A tells you whether they do. Search two or three for your role with words such as , graduate, or associate.

Count the postings in your city, your country and the remote market for a few weeks. Note which skills repeat and whether degrees are demanded. Compare two candidate roles this way.

This does not replace the fuller job search work later. It simply stops you training for a role with almost no junior openings near you.

Common trapcounting senior postings, or postings in another country where you cannot work, and mistaking them for your own market.

A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 1 cheat sheet entry come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
