Stage 2 · Lesson 2 of 6
Auditing your transferable skills
are things you already do well that also matter in tech. List yours, each with evidence: analysing numbers, writing clearly, teaching, handling difficult customers, managing projects, working with regulations, diagnosing faults in machines.
Then match each one to the tech roles that use it. A support agent already sorts problems by urgency and writes clear steps to reproduce them. That is half of QA work.
An engineer already reasons about systems and data. This audit shortens your learning and points you to a , one that mixes your old field with tech. It also gives you material for your story later. The next topic turns it into a shortlist of roles.
Common traplisting generic such as "team player" with no example, which convinces nobody, including you.
