Stage 2 · Lesson 4 of 8
AWS accounts and Organizations
On AWS, the account is the main boundary for , permissions and billing. groups several accounts under a management account, arranges them in organisational units, and lets you apply guardrail policies and one consolidated bill.
Real teams give dev, test and production their own accounts, so a mistake or leaked key in one cannot reach the others. For learning, one account is fine, but know how the structure works because every design, exam and job uses it.
Common traprunning experiments, a client project and something important in the same account, so one bad policy or runaway bill hits all of them.
A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 1 cheat sheet entry come with the full roadmap. Unlock
