Stage 2 · Lesson 6 of 8
Finding a buddy and meeting the team
Many teams give a new joiner an : a teammate you can go to with everyday questions. If yours does not, ask your manager who would be a good person to ask. Book short introductions with each teammate and the people you will work with most, such as a , a designer or a (QA).
Ask each person what they work on, what they wish they had known in their first month, and how they like to be asked for help. Draw a simple map of who owns what. This saves your manager's time and gives you a network before you need it, which makes the teamwork stage much easier.
Common trapasking your manager everything, or always asking the same one person, and wearing them out.
A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 1 cheat sheet entry come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
