Masters and scholarships abroad

Stage 7 · Lesson 1 of 7

Proof of funds

Visa, money and pre-departure

Almost every student visa asks for : evidence you can pay tuition and living costs. Each country sets its own amount and the forms it accepts. These can be a bank statement, a blocked account, a scholarship letter or a loan letter.

Countries also set how long the money must have been held. Some want funds in your name or a parent's, held for a set number of days before you apply. Read the official page for your exact visa route.

Prepare documents that match it exactly, with translations if needed. Scholarship letters must state what they cover.

Common trapa large deposit made shortly before applying with no clear source, which visa officers treat as a warning sign and can refuse.

A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 1 cheat sheet entry come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
