Stage 4 · Lesson 5 of 5
Proof of work they can check
When a cannot judge your university or employer, checkable work fills the gap. Link two or three projects with live demos or clear README files, real code on GitHub, a write-up of a hard problem you solved, or open source contributions accepted by others.
Choose work that matches the roles you target in your destination: cloud and security for many Gulf roles, backend and data for Berlin startups, product engineering for London . Write each project up as a short case study: the problem, your decisions, the result and what you would change.
Certifications help most where employers screen for them, such as cloud certificates in the Gulf.
Common trapa GitHub full of tutorial clones and unfinished repos, which shows activity but no judgement.
A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 2 cheat sheet entries come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
