About Tauseef Fayyaz

Leading a team taught me the part nobody writes about: the gap between engineers who progress and engineers who stall is rarely raw ability. It is scope, communication, judgement about what to build, and knowing how your work is read by the people who decide promotions. That is the material I teach.

Outside of work I spend most of my time on how developers grow, from a first line of code to shipping real products and moving a career forward. I share what works at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and growth with a community of 90,000+ on LinkedIn.

I also mentor engineers 1:1 through Topmate as their Tech Career Evangelist: juniors and fresh graduates breaking into the industry, mid-level engineers prepping for interviews and promotion cases, and career-switchers moving into product companies. That is hundreds of engineers so far, across personal branding, LinkedIn strategy, system-design coaching, and career planning.

Sefism is the home base I founded in August 2024 to bring all of that together: mentorship, career guidance, project feedback, and learning resources in one focused community.
