Software EngineeringProduct Development

Atlassian offers a paid full time summer internship for students in the penultimate year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, alongside a 12 month graduate programme for finalists and recent graduates.

Tracks cover software engineering, design, product management, security, data and machine learning, site reliability engineering and several business functions.

Timings follow each region: in the United States and Canada recruiting runs September to March with internships from May to September, in Australia and New Zealand recruiting runs February to June with internships from November to February, in India recruiting runs July to December with internships from May to August, and in Poland applications open in February for a July start.

Teams are distributed, with in person company events and social gatherings used to build the community rather than a fixed office requirement.

Atlassian recruits on a rolling basis and asks people to apply early because places go quickly.
