What they ask for
Palantir splits its technical internships between Software Engineers, who sit in the product development organisation, and Forward Deployed Software Engineers, who work towards technical and operational outcomes for a single customer.
US and London internships are typically 12 weeks long and run somewhere between May and September, with four separate start dates so different university calendars fit, and longer or off season placements can be arranged with a recruiter.
Most interns land in hub offices including New York, Washington DC, Chicago, London, Sydney, Tokyo and Palo Alto.
The first week is intern onboarding on Palantir systems and either Gotham or Foundry, after which every intern works with a Lead who tracks progress and a Mentor for day to day questions.
Palantir states this must be your final internship before graduation and points the current intake at students graduating with a bachelor or master degree in 2028.
