What they ask for

Software EngineeringMachine Learning

Pinterest calls its interns Pinterns, with tracks for software engineering, machine learning at master and PhD level, data science and UX quantitative research.

Summer internships run for 12 weeks in two cohorts, one starting in May for students on semester calendars and one in June for students on quarter calendars, finishing in August or September.

You must be currently enrolled in an accredited programme working towards a bachelor through PhD degree, and people who have already finished their studies are not eligible for university roles.

Internships are offered across North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific, including Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Seattle, Berlin, Dublin, Hamburg, London, Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Singapore and Tokyo, plus some remote roles.

Pinterest says the roles historically open in August or September and lists the next intake as opening in the autumn, so it asks candidates to sign up for notifications.
