SAP describes the Internship Experience Program as "SAP's global, paid internship program that provides university students with the opportunities to find purpose in their careers". It gives three reasons to join: a culture of collaboration where you meet mentors and build a personal network, a project driven experience with virtual and in person learning sessions and project deliverables, and visibility through a global network of SAP leaders.
Openings are posted on SAP's own careers site under the iXp label, in engineering, support, design, marketing and sales teams across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Postings require that you are currently enrolled at a university or university of applied sciences, and state that full time active student status is required for the whole internship. Length and weekly hours are set per posting: the Budapest software role read for this entry asked for a minimum of twelve months at 24, 30, 32 or 40 hours a week. Search the iXp listings for the location and team you want, because each posting carries its own dates.
