Ask for a referral to Creative Chaos

A referral only means something if the person giving it can actually speak to your work. I will refer you where I know someone on the inside and your profile genuinely fits the role, and I will tell you plainly when I cannot. Either way you get an answer, and a straight one.

  • I read every request. A reply takes a few days, sometimes longer.
  • I will not refer someone for a role their profile does not fit. It wastes your time and costs me the contact.
  • Where I cannot refer you, I will say why, and point you at the way in that does work.
  • Nothing you send here is shared with anyone without you agreeing to it first.

If you found the opening, paste it. It tells me which team you mean.

A Drive, Dropbox or personal-site link is fine. Make sure it opens without a request for access, or I cannot read it.

At least a short paragraph. This is what I would be putting my name behind, so specifics beat adjectives.

Comma separated, up to six. Things you would be happy to be tested on.

Grokking System Design

The free, open companion to the Grokking the System Design Interview course, published as a GitHub repository. It teaches a pattern-first approach: learn building blocks such as caching, sharding, replication and queues well enough that any design question becomes a matter of combining them. It includes a seven-step interview framework, 30 patterns, 59 question walkthroughs, company guides, cheat sheets and study roadmaps, all readable in the browser without an account.

System Design Practice Questions

An interactive practice tool for system design questions: you work through a real-world design step by step on a whiteboard and receive AI-powered feedback on your answer. Your practice sessions are saved with their status, so you can return to them and review results. It fills the gap most preparation leaves open, which is actually producing designs under realistic conditions rather than only reading worked answers.

Roadmap
Sefism Frontend Development Roadmap

A seven-stage plan from how the web works to a shipped product: HTML and CSS, JavaScript and the browser, Git and build tooling, your framework (React with Next.js, Vue with Nuxt, or Angular), TypeScript and testing, performance, accessibility and security, then a real product with real users. It suits beginners, career switchers and backend developers filling in the browser side. By the end you can ship a typed, tested, accessible and fast app, deployed with CI and real people using it.

Expo Documentation

The official documentation for Expo, the framework and tooling most React Native apps now start with. It covers creating a project, a step-by-step tutorial app, file based navigation with Expo Router, the SDK modules for camera, notifications and more, and building, submitting and updating apps with EAS. It suits JavaScript and React developers moving to mobile, and it removes much of the native setup that used to make React Native hard for beginners.
