What it is
A marketplace for paid, on demand technical help. You describe a problem, get matched with someone who knows that stack, and pay for the time it takes, usually in a screen sharing session.
When it is worth the money
When you have lost more than a day to something a specialist would recognise in ten minutes. A build configuration that will not resolve, a deployment failing for an opaque reason, a subtle bug in an unfamiliar framework. The economics are clearly favourable at that point and people still hesitate for reasons that are not really about cost.
When it is not
For learning a subject, or for career direction. This is transactional problem solving; a course or an ongoing mentor is a better purchase for anything that is not urgent.
Best for: unblocking a specific problem quickly, particularly for freelancers whose time is billable.
