What it is

A public study plan, originally one person's own, covering algorithms and data structures, computer architecture, operating systems, networking, databases and system design, as a long checklist with a resource attached to each item.

Why it is worth looking at even if you do not follow it

It is honest about scale. Most preparation advice implies a few weeks; this says months of daily study and then shows the list that justifies the claim. Seeing the real size of the foundation is a useful correction, particularly for self taught engineers deciding whether to target a large company.

How to use it sensibly

Do not attempt it whole unless you genuinely have a year. Use it as a checklist to find the gaps, then close those with focused material. Working the entire list is more computer science than any interview requires.

Best for: self taught developers who want to see the full scope, and anyone planning a long preparation.
