What the path actually contains

Despite the "roadmap" label, this is not a topic-by-topic curriculum that starts from arrays. It is a bundle of five separate courses, one per company, sold together as a learning path:

• Meta: the top 45 most frequently asked questions
• Microsoft, Amazon and Google: the top 50 each
• Oracle: the top 50

Each course follows the same shape: a short introduction, then an easy set, a medium set and a hard set, with every problem followed by its own solution lesson. Across the bundle the course page lists 20 chapters and 495 lessons as of September 2026. The provider describes the approach as pattern-based: rather than thousands of problems, it focuses on the questions each company repeats and the patterns that solve them.

Is it worth it, and for whom?

It is worth it if two things are true: you already know the common patterns (sliding window, two pointers, BFS and DFS, heaps, basic dynamic programming), and you have a real interview scheduled at one of these five companies. In that situation, a curated list of the problems that company is known to ask is a sensible final-stage filter.

It works best as the final stage of preparation. The medium and hard sets assume you can already recognise the pattern behind a problem, so build that skill first with Grokking the Coding Interview: Patterns for Coding Questions, then come here in the last four to six weeks before the loop.

The value is calibration: you practise on the questions each company's interviewers are known to use, at the difficulty level and in the style that company leans towards.

How long it takes

Five courses of 45 to 50 problems each is a lot of material, so focus on the course for your target company first. At two or three problems a day, one company course takes three to five weeks. If you are interviewing at two companies, do both courses.

Free versus paid

A few problems in each course can be previewed for free. Full access comes either through the provider's annual subscription, which unlocks every course on the platform, or a lifetime purchase of this bundle alone. The course page shows regional pricing, so check the current figure there.

How to use it well

• Attempt every problem under a timer (about 20 minutes for mediums) before opening the solution lesson.
• Say your approach out loud as you go. Large-company interviewers score communication as much as correctness.
• Keep a list of problems you failed and redo them a week later without looking.
• Pair this with timed mock interviews with another person. Solving alone, even on the right questions, does not train you to think under observation.

Common questions

Does it teach the patterns from scratch? Each course is a question set with full solutions. The pattern courses in the same library, such as Grokking the Coding Interview, teach the underlying techniques.

Which company course should I start with? Only the one you are interviewing at. The others are optional extra practice at a similar level.

Is it useful for companies outside these five? Yes. The medium problems in particular are representative of what many product companies ask, so the practice carries over.

Best for: candidates with solid pattern knowledge and a confirmed interview at Meta, Microsoft, Amazon, Google or Oracle.
