Grokking Prompt Engineering for Professional Portfolio and Job Search

Using AI tools deliberately across a job search: sharpening a resume against a specific posting, preparing for interviews, researching companies and drafting outreach that does not read as generated. Practical, and unusually concrete about where the tools help and where they hurt you.

The honest framing

AI can make a job search substantially faster, and it can also produce the flat, generic application material that recruiters have learned to spot in seconds. The difference is entirely in how you use it, and this course is about that difference.

What it covers

Tailoring a resume to a specific job description without losing your own voice, generating and pressure testing interview answers, researching a company and its engineering culture before a conversation, drafting outreach messages that sound like a person, and building portfolio and project descriptions that actually communicate what you did.

What it is careful about

It draws the line at fabrication. Using a model to articulate a real achievement more clearly is preparation. Using one to invent an achievement is a story that collapses in the first follow up question, and the course says so.

Best for: anyone actively job hunting who wants to move faster without sending material that reads as automated.
