What it is
A blog that has been publishing architecture case studies for well over a decade, covering how named companies actually built their systems, what broke as they grew, and what they changed.
Why real cases matter
Interview designs are clean. Real systems are not, and the gap is where judgement lives. Reading how a company handled a migration under load, or why they abandoned an approach that looks correct on a whiteboard, teaches something no worked example can.
How to use it
Read the older archived posts as well as new ones. A write up from ten years ago about scaling to a level that is now routine is often clearer about the reasoning than a current post about something exotic.
Best for: engineers who already have the fundamentals and want to develop taste.
