What it is
The Make Community is the official discussion forum for Make users. It has areas for questions, showcases, news and learning, and Make staff post product and Make Academy updates there. Members help each other with mapping formulas, iterators and aggregators, error handlers, webhooks, HTTP calls and the quirks of specific app modules.
Why it is worth your time
Most Make problems have been asked before. Searching for an exact error message, module name or function usually finds a thread with an answer and often a screenshot of a working setup. It is especially useful for app-specific issues, such as a module that returns data in an unexpected shape, which official docs may not cover.
It also helps your career. Answering questions sharpens your own understanding and makes you visible to people who may later need help building or fixing scenarios.
How to ask well
- Search first, using the error text and module name.
- Describe what you expected and what happened, with screenshots of the scenario and the relevant bundle output.
- Remove personal data, API keys and client names from screenshots and blueprints before posting.
- Mark the reply that solved your problem so others can find it.
Free versus paid
The forum is free. It is community help, not a support contract, so response times vary.
Things to watch
Advice can be out of date, especially from before Make moved from operations to credits, or before newer AI features. Test suggestions on a copy of your scenario. Be cautious with private offers of paid work or help; keep agreements in writing and never share client credentials.
Common questions
Can beginners post? Yes. Clear, specific questions get answered fastest.
Can I share a scenario? You can share a blueprint export, but check it for sensitive data first.
Is it useful for finding clients? Indirectly, through reputation. Hard selling in threads is not welcome.
