The personal site of one of the people who defined the modern vocabulary of software architecture, holding a large, well maintained archive of articles, pattern catalogues and long form pieces.
Why go to the source
Terms like microservice, continuous delivery, strangler fig and event sourcing get used loosely, and the original articles are almost always more precise and more qualified than the way the terms are used now. Reading the source frequently reveals that the author explicitly warned against the thing you have seen the idea used for.
What to read first
