MyCareersFuture (Singapore government job portal)
Singapore's government-run job portal. Under the Fair Consideration Framework, employers applying for most Employment Passes must first advertise the job here for at least 14 consecutive days, with a clear salary range. That makes it a useful window into which Singapore employers are hiring and at what pay.

MyCareersFuture is Singapore's government job portal. It matters to foreign candidates for a specific reason: the rules for the Employment Pass are tied to it.
Why it matters for an EP
Under MOM's Fair Consideration Framework, employers submitting Employment Pass or S Pass applications must first advertise the job on MyCareersFuture and consider all candidates fairly. As of October 2026, MOM's pages say:
- The advert must stay open for at least 14 consecutive days, and employers should not make an offer during that time.
- The ad must state a clear salary. If it shows a range, the maximum cannot be more than twice the minimum.
- Exemptions include companies with fewer than 10 employees, jobs with a fixed monthly salary of S$22,500 or more, roles of one month or less, and intra-corporate transferees.
So for most EP jobs, the role you are offered appeared on MyCareersFuture first, with a real salary range attached.
Who it is for
A CS graduate or developer from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nigeria or anywhere else who is targeting Singapore. You can browse jobs without being in the country.
How to use it
- Read salary ranges. Because ads must show salaries, MyCareersFuture is one of the most honest sources for what Singapore employers pay for software, data and cloud roles. Compare them with the Employment Pass minimum.
- Spot active employers. Companies that advertise many tech roles here are hiring, and some of them hire from abroad.
- Apply directly where you can, but expect a local preference. The framework exists so that local candidates are considered fairly. Your application has to show skills that stand out.
- Note the 14-day window. If you are interviewing for a Singapore role, a short wait before the offer can simply be the advertising period.
Common mistakes and scams
- Paying anyone for a Singapore job. Employers apply for your pass. Never pay a "consultant" to get you a job or an EP.
- Believing an offer for a job that was never advertised. For most EP roles, a genuine employer has to advertise first. It is a fair question to ask.
- Ignoring the salary. If the offer is below the EP minimum for your age, the pass is unlikely to be approved.
- Clicking links in unsolicited messages. Search for the job on mycareersfuture.gov.sg yourself.
