What it is
A community maintained reference covering prompting techniques from basic instruction design through chain of thought, self consistency, retrieval augmentation and agent patterns, with links to the papers each technique comes from.
Why the citations matter
Prompting advice circulates as folklore, and a large amount of it was never true or stopped being true. Having the source paper attached lets you check when a result was published, on which models, and whether the effect was large enough to care about.
How to use it
As a survey rather than a manual. Read it to learn what exists, then use your provider's own current documentation for the specific model you are targeting, since behaviour differs and changes.
Best for: engineers who want the landscape and the evidence, not a list of tricks.
