What it is

roadmap.sh is a free, community-maintained site of visual learning roadmaps. The Product Manager roadmap lays out the skills a product manager uses, from understanding users and doing research to prioritising features, defining a go-to-market plan, pricing, launching and measuring results. Each node links to a short explanation and further reading.

Why it helps an indie builder

When you build and sell your own product, you are the product manager as well as the engineer. Developers tend to over-invest in building and under-invest in everything around it: talking to users, deciding what not to build, positioning, pricing and metrics. This roadmap names those skills and shows how they connect, which makes it a useful checklist for spotting your gaps.

It is written for people seeking product manager jobs in companies, so parts of it, such as stakeholder management across teams, matter less when you work alone. It is not a step-by-step guide to launching a product; pair it with a hands-on roadmap and real customer conversations.
