The Futur (YouTube channel)
The Futur, led by Chris Do, teaches the business side of creative and service work: pricing, sales conversations, positioning, branding and getting clients without chasing them. Many videos are whiteboard lessons or live coaching sessions with real business owners. It suits freelancers, designers and developers selling services who know their craft but struggle with clients and pricing.

What the channel covers
The Futur calls itself a training platform for creative entrepreneurs who want to learn business strategy, personal branding and how to scale creative services. Its audience started with designers, but the lessons on pricing, selling and positioning apply just as well to freelance developers and small agencies.
The channel mixes whiteboard lessons, podcast episodes, live workshops and "Business Clinic" style sessions where Chris Do and guests work through a real person's business problem on camera. The recurring themes are pricing on value instead of hours, talking to clients with confidence, building an inbound pipeline, and building a personal brand that brings work to you.
Playlists to start with
- If You're New Here Watch This!: the channel's own starting point.
- Nail Your Sales & Get Clients (6 Part Series): a compact series on sales conversations.
- Sales Training Workshop: How to Talk to Clients! and Sales Conversation Mastery Workshop: longer sessions for when you have real calls coming up.
- Business Bootcamp: pricing, positioning and running a services business.
- Win Without Pitching: on winning work without free spec proposals.
- Personal Branding and LinkedIn Marketing: for building visibility that brings clients in.
- Business Clinic (5 Core Essentials): coaching sessions with real entrepreneurs.
Who it suits
Freelance developers and designers, people running a small studio, and anyone about to quote their first client. It is less useful if you want a salaried job and have no plans to sell services, although the communication lessons still transfer.
How to turn watching into action
Business advice only matters once you use it on a real client. Try this:
- Rewrite your offer after the first few videos. One paragraph: who you help, with what result, and roughly what it costs.
- Script your next sales call using the questions from the sales series, then review how it went.
- Raise or restructure one price. Move one service from hourly to a fixed scope, even as an experiment.
- Post about one client result in your own words on LinkedIn instead of collecting more branding tips.
Keep in mind that the examples are often from the US design industry. Adjust pricing to your market and your clients' budgets.
Pair it with on Sefism
- The Freelancing roadmap and its cheat sheet give you the step by step side: platforms, proposals, delivery and getting paid.
- The LinkedIn and personal branding roadmap and cheat sheet pair with the branding playlists.
- Contracts: Contract Killer and the Freelancers Union Contract Creator.
- Selling services on LinkedIn: LinkedIn Service Pages.
- Deciding whether to freelance at all: Should I start with freelancing on Fiverr or Upwork, or get a job first? and the blog post Freelancing vs Job in Pakistan.
Best for: freelancers who are good at the work and want to get better at pricing, selling and positioning it.
