Keep handy

Also worth your time

Before moving on: Four weeks of a tracked client-finding routine (proposals, brief replies or outreach with results), at least one discovery conversation, and your first paid project or a clear list of what to change next.

Tauseef's advice
Fewer, better attempts win. Ten proposals or messages that show you understood the client's problem beat a hundred copies. And if a first client feels wrong, walk away: a bad first client can cost you a review, weeks of work or your account.
