Read the signals and your own exposure

An is an honest score of how vulnerable your role is, so you know where to act. Look at four things. Work: is it close to or customers, or an experiment?

Tasks: how much of your week is work AI already does well? Replaceability: how many people could take over your work within a month, inside the company or in a cheaper location? Evidence: is your recent impact written down where decision makers can see it?

Score each from low to high and be strict. The result is not a prediction. It tells you which of the next stages to put most effort into.

Common trapscoring yourself on effort and loyalty, which rarely appear on any layoff spreadsheet.
