Stage 2 · Lesson 3 of 6
Warning signs on your team and for you
Closer to home, the signs are quieter. On your : your project loses its , for tools or is cut, your manager seems stressed and vague about the next quarter, stop past a month or two, or your team's work is moved to another location.
For you: you are left out of planning, interesting work goes to others, feedback becomes formal and written, or your manager suddenly talks about "documentation" and "handover". None of these proves anything on its own, and good managers sometimes cannot share what they know.
But together they are worth acting on: strengthen your position where you are, and quietly prepare a plan B.
Common trapeither panicking at every vague meeting or explaining every sign away.
