Stage 6 · Lesson 1 of 5
Comparing offers properly
Put every offer, including staying where you are, into one table in one currency. Rows: base salary, (housing, transport, schooling), bonus, tax and social contributions, health insurance, pension or end-of-service benefits, paid leave, rent for a realistic flat, other living costs and what you can save each month.
Add things money does not show: visa type and whether it lets your family join and work, the , the team and what you will learn. Use real rent listings and official tax calculators, not averages. A lower salary in a cheaper city with family allowed can beat a higher one in a city where you live alone in a shared room.
Common trapchoosing on the headline number, then discovering that rent and school fees take most of it.
A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 2 cheat sheet entries come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
