Stage 1 · Lesson 2 of 6
What AI trainers actually do
AI trainer work improves and coding assistants rather than labelling raw data. Typical tasks: write a realistic, hard prompt in your field; write the a model should give; rate a model's answer against a covering accuracy, instruction following, clarity and safety; compare two answers side by side and justify which is better; fact-check claims; and for programmers, run, test and fix AI-generated code.
Platforms such as and list exactly these tasks on their own sites. The value you bring is judgement: knowing when an answer in chemistry, law, accounting or Python is subtly wrong.
Common trapassuming fluent English is enough. Projects pay for expertise and careful checking, and reviewers spot shallow, confident ratings quickly.
