WordPress and Shopify

Stage 2 · Lesson 7 of 7

Site plans, Workspaces and ownership

Webflow: Designer, classes and CMS

Webflow has two kinds of plan. A is paid per site. It decides hosting, the custom domain, how many you can have, form submissions and other features.

A Workspace plan is paid per team. It decides how many people can build and how many unhosted sites you can keep. When quoting a client, pick the Site plan that fits their content and traffic, and decide where the site will live.

Many freelancers build in their own Workspace, then move the site to the client's Workspace at handover. That way billing and ownership belong to the client. Plans and limits change, so read the current pricing page.

Common traplaunching on a plan whose CMS item limit the client will hit within months.
