Data Exports and CUR 2.0
The console views are summaries. For line-by-line data you create an export with : 2.0 (CUR 2.0) is the recommended detailed table, and 1.2 with AWS columns is also available, along with cost optimisation recommendations and carbon emissions.
Exports land as files in an S3 bucket on a schedule, and you query them with , for example in , or load them into your own tools. Choose only the columns you need to keep files small.
Common trapwaiting until you need history: exports start from when you create them, so turn one on early.
