Stage 5 · Lesson 1 of 7

Starting with your warm network

Landing your first clients

Most first direct come from your : people who already know and trust you. Think of classmates, teachers, former managers, family businesses, and society or community contacts. List fifty names.

Then tell them clearly what you now offer and for whom. Send a short personal message, not a broadcast. When , ask for introductions to one specific kind of person, not for work from them.

Make it easy to forward: one sentence about the service and a link to your service page. Follow up once. Some people will not reply, and that is normal.

Common trapbeing too shy to tell people what you do, or sending a vague "let me know if you need anything", which gives nobody a reason to act.

A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 2 cheat sheet entries come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
