Connects and what they cost
Sending a on Upwork costs , a kind of token. Upwork sells them at $0.15 each, in bundles. Each job post shows how many Connects it needs, and the number varies with project size and demand.
Some receive 10 free Connects a month. Onboarding tasks can award a few, and each awards 30. You get Connects back only if the client cancels the post or Upwork removes it.
You do not get them back when the client picks someone else or the post expires. , a paid membership, adds 100 Connects a month and other features, for a monthly price shown in your account. Set a small monthly budget and decide in advance how many proposals you will send.
