Stage 2 · Lesson 3 of 7
Evidence from your own best moments
Surveys tell you how you see yourself. Stories show what you actually did. Write down five moments when you felt proud, absorbed or fully yourself: a project, helping a friend, organising an event, solving a hard problem, teaching a younger cousin.
They do not have to be impressive to anyone else. For each one, write what you did, step by step, and what part you enjoyed most. Then look across all five for repeats.
Perhaps you were always the one who brought people together, or who found the bug nobody else could, or who explained things simply. Repeats across very different situations are your strongest evidence.
Common trapchoosing only moments others praised, which tells you about their values more than your strengths.
