Tech jobs abroad

Stage 5 · Lesson 1 of 5

Who actually sponsors

Find employers who hire from abroad

Sponsorship costs an employer money, paperwork and waiting time, so it is concentrated in certain companies. Look for evidence: job ads that say "" or "", engineering teams on LinkedIn with people who moved from your region, and official registers where they exist, such as the UK list of licensed sponsors. Keep a list of target companies with the evidence next to each.

Common trapapplying to every job you see, when most local companies simply cannot or will not wait for a visa.
