AI video and design for clients

Stage 1 · Lesson 1 of 5

What the demand data says

What clients actually buy

's report, published in February 2026, measured freelancer earnings on completed jobs for US clients in 2025 against 2024. AI video generation and editing grew 329 percent, the fastest of any skill it tracked. and editing grew 95 percent.

In the same report, graphic design and video editing stayed among the most in-demand creative skills overall. Read that carefully. Clients are not replacing designers and editors with a button; they are paying people who can use AI to get a usable, result faster. Growth from a smaller base also looks bigger in percentages.

Common trapreading "329 percent" as "anyone with a subscription gets work", when the jobs go to people who can show finished results.
