Stage 3 · Lesson 6 of 8
Getting value from meetings
Your calendar will fill with meetings you do not fully understand at first. For each one, know why you are there: to decide, to share information or to learn. Read the agenda and any linked document beforehand.
Take notes on decisions and , the tasks people agreed to do. Afterwards, follow up in writing on anything assigned to you, so this keeps a record nobody has to remember. Speak at least once when you have something useful, even a question.
Many teams value a new joiner's fresh view. If a recurring meeting never needs you, ask your manager whether you should attend. Good meeting habits protect your focus time, which the productivity stage builds on.
Common trapattending passively, taking no notes and missing that an action item was yours.
A question to check yourself, an AI practice session and 1 cheat sheet entry come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
