Do this

  • Do a 30-minute weekly review three weeks in a row
  • Choose three priorities each week and write them at the top of your plan
  • Block your priorities into your calendar, leaving buffer time each day
  • Compare estimated and actual time for five tasks
  • Complete at least five deep work blocks with your phone away
  • Set one or two batch times for messages and mute noisy groups
  • Use a three-step shutdown ritual on most days

Practise

  • Track actual time for a week to fix your estimates and see where hours go

Keep handy

  • Keep your weekly review, priorities and project lists on one page

Also worth your time

Before moving on: Three weekly reviews done, three priorities chosen each week, priorities blocked on your calendar with buffer time, at least five deep work blocks completed, message batch times set and a shutdown ritual you use most days.

Tauseef's advice
A good week is planned on Sunday, not every morning in a panic. Choose three things that matter, give them real time in your best hours, and protect that time like a class you cannot miss. Leave space for life, because there will always be some.
