Stage 5 · Lesson 3 of 6
Online and offline: use both
Online communities are open at any hour, reach across countries and suit people in small towns or with limited freedom to travel. Offline communities give you eye contact, shared meals and the kind of trust that comes from being physically present.
Each covers the other's weakness. If you are mostly online, aim for at least one regular in-person connection, even small. If you are mostly offline, an online group can connect you with people in your exact field worldwide.
Watch how each leaves you feeling: some online spaces energise you, others leave you comparing and anxious.
Common traptreating hours of scrolling as social time. Reading feeds is not the same as talking with people.
