Find employers who hire from abroad
Most employers abroad never hire from another country. Find the ones that do: companies with a track record of sponsorship, relocation-friendly job boards, honest recruiters and your own network, and learn to spot fake offers before they cost you money or your documents.
Start: Who actually sponsorsLessons· one lesson for each topic, in this order
Do this
- Build a list of 20 to 40 employers with evidence that they sponsor or relocate.
- Set up saved searches on two job boards with sponsorship or relocation filters.
- Check every UK employer against the register of licensed sponsors, if the UK is your target.
- Message five people who moved from your region to your destination.
- Check any agency's licence before working with it.
- Write your scam check: company domain, careers page, official visa portal, no fees.
- Prepare two-sentence answers to "why this country" and "what salary do you expect".

Before moving on: A target list of 20 to 40 employers in your destination with evidence that each sponsors or relocates, saved searches on two job boards, five warm conversations with people already there, and a written check you run on every offer before you share documents or money.

Treat the target list as the real work, and applications as the output. Twenty companies you know sponsor, with a name inside each, beats two hundred blind applications. And the rule never changes: if anyone asks you to pay for a job or a visa, walk away. sefism.com/questions/how-to-check-if-a-job-offer-from-abroad-is-a-scam/ lists the checks to run on any offer.
