Stage 6 · Lesson 5 of 6
Keep every agreement you make
Once you have a compromise or trial, your reliability becomes your strongest argument. Meet every checkpoint, or warn early if you will miss one and explain what you will change. Keep the smaller promises too: attending the family event, visiting on the weekend, keeping grades up.
Share progress without being asked. Each kept promise makes the next conversation easier, and each broken one gives worry a reason to return. If you reach the end of a trial and it has not worked, honour the plan B as agreed; you can raise a new proposal later from a position of trust.
Common traptreating the agreement as a victory and moving on. It is the start of proving it.
