Knowing yourself: strengths, values and what you actually want

Stage 1 · Lesson 7 of 7

Your starting snapshot

Start noticing: what self-knowledge is, and is not

Before you go further, write down what you believe about yourself today, so you can compare later. One page is enough: three things you think you are good at, three things you care about, what kind of day leaves you tired and what kind leaves you energised, what you think others would say about you, and the decision you are facing right now (a course, a career direction, a job, or simply what to do after graduation).

Add what you are unsure about. Do not look anything up and do not polish it. At the end of this roadmap you will write it again and see what changed, which is often more useful than either version alone.

Common trapskipping this because it feels obvious. Your guesses today are part of the evidence.

A question to check yourself come when you add the roadmap to your account. Add it
