Hisham Sarwar (YouTube channel)

What the channel covers

Hisham Sarwar teaches freelancing, blogging, SEO, digital marketing and social media marketing for free, mostly in Urdu, with a Pakistani audience in mind. The channel mixes skills courses with mentoring: long talks on mindset, ethics, focus and how to deal with clients, and question and answer sessions where he responds to viewers directly.

The tone is that of an older mentor who has been earning online for a long time and wants young people to do it honestly and well. Much of the advice is about habits and judgement rather than tools.

Playlists to start with

Who it suits

Students and fresh graduates in Pakistan who want to start earning online, career switchers from non-technical backgrounds, and developers who can build but struggle with clients, pricing and communication. Software engineers looking for deep programming content should look elsewhere; this channel is about the business of online work.

How to learn from it without getting stuck in tutorial loops

Motivation videos feel productive but do not pay. Turn them into action:

• Choose one skill (for example WordPress, SEO or automation) and finish its playlist before starting another.
• Build three samples for an imaginary client in that skill, then publish them as a portfolio.
• Send proposals early. Do not wait until you feel ready; the feedback from real clients is the course.
• Track your week: hours learning, hours building, proposals sent, replies received.

Pair it with on Sefism

• The Freelancing roadmap and cheat sheet give a step by step plan from first gig to steady clients.
• If automation interests you, follow the Automation for clients roadmap; for WordPress and Shopify work, the WordPress and Shopify roadmap.
• Read the blog post Freelancing vs Job in Pakistan: An Honest Guide for Developers.
• Set up on Upwork or Fiverr, and get paid with Payoneer or Wise.
• Stuck on a decision? Ask Tauseef a question about your situation.

Best for: Urdu-speaking learners in Pakistan who want to start earning online with honest, mentor-style guidance.
