Stage 2 · Lesson 3 of 7
Routers and filters
A splits a into several routes, like a fork in a road. A filter on each route decides which bundles may pass. It checks a condition, such as "amount greater than 500" or "country equals Egypt".
Routes run in order. You can mark one as the fallback route, which catches bundles that match no other filter. Filters can also sit between any two modules, to stop irrelevant data early.
That saves , because a filtered-out bundle does not run the next module. This is how one scenario handles several cases, such as new versus returning customers.
Common trapoverlapping filters, where one bundle matches two routes and a customer gets two emails.
