Automation for clients

Stage 2 · Lesson 1 of 7

Scenarios, modules and bundles

Make in depth

In Make, a workflow is called a . It is a chain of on a canvas. The first module is the : a that looks for new data, a or a schedule.

Each module after it searches, creates, updates or reshapes data. Every module outputs bundles, one bundle per record. The next module runs once for each bundle it receives.

A scenario runs on a schedule you set, or instantly when a webhook arrives. Every run is saved in its history, with the data each module saw. Reading the bundles in that history is how you find bugs.

Common trapnot realising a search module returned 30 bundles, so the next module ran 30 times and used 30 times the credits you expected.
